    Pornfestival Amersfoort, 2007

    Performance
Location: Onze Lieve Vrouwentower (the ‘Long John’)

    Twelve choristers, megaphones, edible paper.

On the third floor in the Onze Lieve Vrouwentower     eight actors sang simultaneously and without interruption through a megaphone, the same text like a mantra. The text consisted of a list of 60 variations of the most eaten food in the Third World: millet or ‘love seed’.

Down to the public was a flyer distributed with an explanation of the work. The flyer was made of edible paper and was printed with edible ink. At the end of the performance, the leaflets were scattered from the tower.

Concept and execution: R. van Timmeren

    photography: G.J. van Rooij

    Amsterdam, 2011
    Site-specific installation
    Location: Victorieplein, Amsterdam

Materials used: iron; foam; flowers; rope; flag
    Dimensions tent: w: 200 cm h: 200 cm l: 300 cm
The former ideas of the architect H. Berlage were honored as a reaction to the actual political attitude towards the arts.
In order to rehabilitate his ideas five emergency tents were made of flowers (hyacinths and tulips) and placed around the monument that was erected for him.

    Special thanks to:
    Bloemencorso Bollenstreek
    Jongerenvereniging X-Out
All volunteers that helped putting the flowers on place.
