    Pilotproject Gropiusstadt, Berlin 2004

    Performance

Thirty posters were hung in the Lipchitzallee in Berlin with the text:
“Morgen um 21:18 wird ein Indianer in ihrer Strasse schlafen gehen” (Tomorrow at 21:18 hours an Indian will sleep in your street).

The next day an Indian gets out of a bus.
Beside the busstop stands a bed.
    The Indian unpacks the bag,
    makes the bed, gets undressed,
reads a little and goes to sleep.
After 15 minutes he wakes up,
gets dressed and takes the next bus.

    Amsterdam, 2011

    Location: Victorieplein, Amsterdam

Materials used: iron; foam; flowers; rope; flag
    Dimensions tent: w: 200 cm h: 200 cm l: 300 cm
The former ideas of the architect H. Berlage were honored as a reaction to the actual political attitude towards the arts.
In order to rehabilitate his ideas five emergency tents were made of flowers (hyacinths and tulips) and placed around the monument that was erected for him.

    Special thanks to:
    Bloemencorso Bollenstreek
    Jongerenvereniging X-Out
All volunteers that helped putting the flowers on place.
